Davies Chiropractic Care welcomes new Chiropractor, Kathryn
Davies Chiropractic Care, your local and friendly chiropractic clinic based in Heaton Moor, Stockport, would like to welcome Kathryn Parkin to the team. Kathyrn has been working for 9 years as chiropractor in Stockport and is now joining Sam and Kate. Sam opened the doors to the people of Stockport and Manchester in January 2016 with Kate joining her in October 2016. They are so excited to have Kathryn on board.
Here is a little bit more about Kathryn:
Q) How long have you been a chiropractor?
I graduated from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic in July 2008 and started work 2 weeks later.
Q) What made you decide to become a chiropractor?
After a couple of horse riding falls and a car accident, I was struggling with my neck. Thankfully my path happened to cross with a chiropractor and following successful treatments, it inspired me to go back to University and become a chiropractor.
Q) What do you enjoy most about it?
Quite simply, I just really like making people feel better! Having been on the receiving end of spinal pain myself and experienced how debilitating it can be, I really do enjoy helping others toward leading pain free lives. It’s hugely rewarding and makes going to work a pleasure.
Q) What do you enjoy least about it?
Feet. I dislike feet – and that includes my own.
Q) What is your favourite thing to treat?
I’ve found a lot of success over the years treating chronic conditions. I pride myself on having helped a lot of people with such, who seemingly were at a loss as to where to go with their pain. I’m certainly not saying that I can miraculously cure things just that many people over the years, who thought nothing else could be done to help them, have found relief through chiropratic. That’s so wonderful to be a part of.
Q) Are there any quick tips you can give when it comes to pain?
Ensure good posture and stretch regularly to help stay out of pain. If all else fails, use an ice pack to limit the inflammation on your way to see your chiropractor!
